Help

The best way to fix your problem of not receiving BBC One/Two, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 is to install a larger dish. Before considering this read the reviews of people using the HasEurope 1Metre plus Hi-gain satellite dish. Please see our hints, tips and tricks to keep you watching your favourite shows

HINTS, TIPS AND TRICKS

There has been a drop in signal again for BBC, ITV etc.. this has happened before and generally after a short time a few days or a weeks the signal has then come back to normal. The last time this happened was on the weekend of 17th July the signal for BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 all but disappeared in the South of France.
After a few days the signal did come up but not to as higher level as before. It seems that our 1 Metre plus dish does not give 24/7 all Channels reliable service. We still believe that when you are looking at 1.2 Metre and below dishes our dish beats all the competition.
This Time may be different but June and July have seen a lot of changes with satellites with the new Astra 2G now active and many of the Free to air channels that were previously on the European Beam have now switched to the UK Spot beam the same as BBC, ITV, Channel & Channel 5.
It may be best to wait until late summer and see how things settle down before making any changes to your dish.
In the meantime use should do the following:
Try both HD and Non HD version of the channels as they are broadcast from different Beams.
Follow instruction below for watching the following channels:

BBC

There are no guarantees that any of these will work but please try:
Please try different BBC one 951 up to 968 instead of BBC 1 101 (953 Northern Ireland is the strongest)
Also try BBC One Scotland 977 BBC one HD Northern Ireland Channel 979, BBC One HD Wales Channel 978
BBC News on Channel 570
BBC Three on 210
BBC Four on 211
Please try different BBC Two try 142 or 970, 971 & 972  Instead of 102
If you subscribe to HD then BBC Two can be found on channel 102 on your sky box
If you do not subscribe to HD then BBC Two HD can be found on channel 142

1 Metre plus hi gain satelite dish

Can we promise all channels in all weather conditions? No

The signal goes up and down and as long as it is within a range the Sky box can handle you still see a good picture.
Things that reduce the signal are

  • Cloud cover
  • Windy conditions
  • Rain
  • Night time signal drops
  • Changes in the beam from the satellite
  • Power they transmit signal ( This reduces when raining in the UK )

Most of the time the HasEurope 1 Metre Plus Hi-gain dish can cope with one or more than one of these events and still give a good picture on the TV
If a numbers of these things happen at once the channel will be lost.

What is the solution ?

In our view accept the limitations of the dish with the signal as it is now and wait for service to return. If you had a 1.2 metre dish you would still have issues as our dish out performs 1.2 metre dish's.

For people with the space to have a larger dish in the garden our Mega-dish 1.4 Metre gives you a stronger signal but for most people this dish is to large. Ask us for further details.

So the question is, is the 1 metre plus hi-gain dish worth having instead of your 80cm and the answer is 100% yes

We do promise to publish every client's review of our HasEurope 1Metre Plus dish (Good & Bad) and you can read what our clients are saying about the HasEurope 1Metre Plus Dish by Clicking the link below and then decide for yourself when to trust this dish.

CLICK HERE TO READ CUSTOMERS REVIEWS TAKES SOME TIME TO LOOK AT SOME OF THE OLDER REVIEWS ASWELL YOU WILL SEE THERE ARE PERIODS OF LOW SIGNAL

There are no guarantees  as to what these satellite changes mean but in time we hope this dish will be the dish of choice for most people in the South of France
